I work professionally as an artist and photographer, but I am also a designer, carpenter, farmer, orchardist, cook, and father of two incredible girls.

As a photographer, I work on commission for a range of businesses and institutions.  My clients hire me for my artistic vision, my ability to provide or follow creative direction, and my expertise shooting across a variety of photographic styles, both in and out of a studio setting. I pride myself on my ability to work well with people and to know how to use my cameras to deliver narrative, meaning, and beauty to the projects I am invited to work on.

As an artist, I make site-specific and participatory work that promote deeper engagement with the places we inhabit and the people in our community. My projects open up possibilities for connection and elevate moments of empathy and poetry. I have been commissioned to make collaborative public artwork at the University of California Santa Cruz, The Matisse Museum, Parthenon Museum, and the Portland Art Museum.
